The Bioeconomy and Production Development Program has as objective to assist countries in designing specific strategies, policies, investments and regulations that allow for taking full advantage of the potential of the bioeconomy, within a framework of inclusion and sustainability (IICA 2018). To achieve this, it works in 4 strategic areas:
a) Contribute to disseminating the concept of bioeconomy, generating evidence and fostering a better understanding of the bioeconomy’s potential for development;

El Programa de Bioeconomía y Desarrollo Productivo tiene como objetivo apoyar a los países en el diseño de las estrategias, la formulación de políticas, las inversiones y las regulaciones específicas que permitan aprovechar el potencial de la bioeconomía en un marco de inclusión y sostenibilidad (IICA 2018).
Bioeconomía y Desarrollo Productivo
El Programa de Bioeconomía y Desarrollo Productivo tiene como objetivo apoyar a los países en el diseño de las estrategias, la formulación de políticas, las inversiones y las regulaciones específicas que permitan aprovechar el potencial de la bioeconomía en un marco de inclusión y sostenibilidad (IICA 2018). Para lograrlo, trabaja en 4 áreas estratégicas:
a) Contribución a la difusión del concepto, a la generación de evidencia y a un mejor entendimiento sobre el potencial de la bioeconomía al desarrollo.
