In September 2021, the Food Systems Summit will be held, which aims to promote a transformation in the way we produce, consume and conceive food, as well as raise awareness among world public opinion, engage global commitments and actions and promote better alignment with the 2030 Agenda.
In this context, the development of the IICA Agri-food Systems Week is proposed, which will seek to work together on proposals for possible regional solutions that contribute to the improvement of agri-food systems, and mainly, that provide inputs for the Summit of Agrifood Systems.
Objectives of the IICA Agri-Food Systems Week:
1. Analyze and agree on the main challenges faced by FS national and regional.
2. Dialogue with national and regional actors for guidance on possible solutions to face identified challenges.
